About Me

Welcome to That Sleep Coach! My name is Samantha Lodovica, and I am a certified sleep consultant.

As a parent myself, I understand how challenging it can be to deal with lack of sleep and the impact it can have on the entire family. 

I became interested in pediatric sleep consulting when I experienced similar struggles with my own children. This led me to research the science of sleep and discover strategies that not only transformed my family's sleep, but also my perspective on its importance. 

I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy to my practice and believe that every child is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all approach to sleep. That's why I work closely with families to develop personalized sleep plans that suit their unique needs and preferences.

When I'm not helping families find sleep, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two kids who are my biggest supporters and inspire me to make a difference in the lives of other families.

  • You can start instilling healthy sleep habits to lay a strong foundation when your baby is born. It's never too early or too late to start. The approach will vary based on your child's age and personality. We work with children from 4 months to 5 years old.

  • We can help with sleep issues, including nap and bedtime difficulties, short or inconsistent naps, early morning wake-ups, nap transitions, regressions, frequent night wakings, night-time weaning, and self-soothing techniques. In short, we can assist you with all your sleep-related issues!

  • Sleep training is not a quick fix; every child is unique and responds differently. However, with consistency to the plan provided, significant improvements can be seen within 1-2 weeks, often even sooner.

  • Absolutely! You can choose whether to simultaneously work on daytime nap training when beginning the sleep training process. It's not necessary to do everything at once, but can be very beneficial. With a plan package, you'll receive an age-appropriate schedule to aim for, making nap times more precise and consistent.

  • We understand that every family is different, so every sleep plan is customized to your family's lifestyle and goals. We use various methods, from the gentlest to more direct approaches.

  • No. We create a completely personalized sleep plan for each family. While some crying may be inevitable, it's only to the extent you, as the parent, are comfortable with it. We provide a technique that best suits your parenting philosophy and child's personality.
